Mount boards

Mounting Boards

(Paper Border)

Or rather Mat boards are made of processed wood pulp, containing lignin, an acidic, organic substance that helps bond wood fibres together.

Mounting boards are used to separate artwork from the frame to create a perfect border around your artwork. Over 2oo mounting board colours available.

Picture frames are made of beach wood or synthetic plastic. It can be moulded into plain or shaped profiles. At Frame Masters we can cut frame lengths to any custom size up to 2.8m. A large range frames available from 15mm up to 200mm in width.

To achieve the ultimate visual display, frames can be stacked together to create combinations to enhance even more colours of your artwork. This is done by adding mounting boards and joining two or three and sometimes 4 frames together.

Flats 

Flat or square frames are still the most popular profile shapes today. It allows for additional mount board techniques to be applied to the artwork to create a frame that does not appear to "over the top." Flats are perfect for posters prints and certificates. It is a great way for businesses to display posters of their products and important documents.

Shaped

Convex or concave. Triangular or rounded. 

For more elaborate frame designs shaped frames allows you to combine your artwork with your interior design. By choosing the right color and profile shapes it will merge your surroundings creating the perfect theme for your home or office.

 Ornates

If you prefer a classical look, ornate frames are perfect for you.

With embellished finishes is a variety of colors and shapes it creates a stylish  yet warm atmosphere around your home. Ornate frames works wonders around mirrors and classical art.

Box look

These frames are the modern look and is currently in high demand. The boxed look says it all. From the side the profile has a deep outer size, varies from 30mm up to 120mm. Boxed frames can work for any art piece or 3D object. Different colours and profiles available.
